Summary
The game started off with all four players setting up their mana bases and casting their respective commanders. A key turning point came when Max, playing Sauron, used Apprentice Necromancer to reanimate Ravenous Chupacabra, which resulted in the death of The Wise Mothman. The board was then wiped clean by Max's Blasphemous Act, marking a significant shift in tempo. The game progressed with numerous slug tokens being created, courtesy of Toxril, the Corrosive. However, Marie, playing Caesar, was able to swing the game in her favour by casting Martial Coup, removing Toxril from the board and creating several soldier tokens. She then cast Impact Tremors and Kaiser, causing significant damage to all players. The game concluded with Max casting Sauron, milling five cards, amassing five zombies, and reanimating Scholar of the Lost Trove. With the Scholar, he cast Blasphemous Act again, wiping the board and setting the stage for a final showdown.
