Summary
The game starts with all players developing their mana bases and casting their commanders. The Scarab God player, Desmond, was the first to establish a significant board presence with a series of zombie synergies. However, the game took a sharp turn when Eric, playing Rendmaw, Creaking Nest, started generating an army of bird tokens for everyone, creating a complex and crowded board state. The game reached its climax when Kozo, piloting Breya, Etherium Shaper, unleashed a series of explosive turns using diata's ability to generate a wealth of treasure tokens and reanimate multiple artifacts and planeswalkers with Triumphant Reckoning. Despite a valiant last push from Desmond, leveraging the Scarab God's ability to drain opponents and reanimate key cards, Kozo managed to close out the game through a combination of Breya's artifact sacrificing and the amassed treasure tokens.
