Summary
The game started off with standard land drops and minor creature plays. Felix got an early advantage with a Kormorant, but Max managed to keep it in check with a well-placed Braids, Cabal Minion, forcing the table into a sacrifice war. Despite the constant sacrifice and removal, Felix was able to recur Kormorant multiple times and kept the pressure on Max. Seb, on the other hand, was building a proliferate engine with Ezuri, Claw of Progress and a host of other small creatures. The game took a significant turn when the player cast a Cleansing Nova wiping the board of all creatures. The player then used a series of spells, including Mana Geyser, Reiterate, and Past in Flames, to generate infinite mana and draw their entire deck. The game ended with the player casting Comet Storm for 999 damage, wiping out the entire table.
