Summary
The game kicked off with each player deploying their initial mana resources and commanders. Josh, playing The Gitrog Monster, mulliganed down to 6, but managed to find a hand with fast mana to get Gitrog out quick and start dredging cards. Filippos, piloting Tivit, Seller of Secrets, also mulliganed down to 6, keeping a decent removal and a tool to find fast mana. Hélder, on Atraxa, found Food Chain early and had decent ramp, while Baal, playing Tymna and Kraum, mulliganed once and found a hand with early commander deployment and card advantage tools. As the game progressed, Josh got into a position where he could potentially go off with Gitrog and Noose Constrictor, but Hélder's Endurance disrupted his plan. Filippos then took advantage of this window to execute an impressive combo with Time Sieve and Tivit, generating multiple extra turns and eventually winning the game with Thassa’s Oracle and Demonic Consultation.
