Deck Strategies
Evelyn, the Covetous
This deck aims to go fast and leverage Worldgorger Dragon loops with Evelyn as the outlet.
Heliod, Sun-Crowned
This deck aims to assemble a combo with either Walking Ballista or Triskelion, using Heliod's ability to give them Lifelink and thereby create an infinite damage loop.
Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger
This deck also aims to leverage Worldgorger Dragon loops, however, it does so without the use of blue, making it a more challenging strategy.
Talion, the Kindly Lord
This deck aims to control the board and chip away at opponents over time with effects like Rhystic Study in the command zone and other slow, incremental advantage cards.

Summary
The game started with all players introducing their commanders and deck strategies. Early in the game, Alex, playing Heliod, Sun-Crowned, managed to set up a disruptive board presence with Rest in Peace, causing issues for the deck strategies of Jim and Eliot who were playing Evelyn, the Covetous and Kroxa, Titan of Death's Hunger, respectively. Both Jim and Eliot were aiming to leverage Worldgorger Dragon loops, which became significantly more difficult with the graveyard-hate card on the board. Aaron, on the other hand, was playing a more control-oriented game with Talion, the Kindly Lord, aiming to slowly chip away at his opponents' resources.
