Summary
The game started with each player setting up their board and casting their commanders: Hamster with Katilda, Dawnhart Prime, John with Tovolar, Dire Overlord, Pine with Florian, Voldaren Scion, and Rat with Saryth, the Viper's Fang. Hamster's human tribal strategy, powered by Katilda, was going well with the casting of Mentor of the Meek and Adeline, Resplendent Cathar generating tokens and card draw. However, John's werewolf tribal deck took the spotlight as Tovolar transformed his werewolves multiple times, allowing him to draw cards and create wolf tokens. Pine played a control strategy with Florian, using damage pingers to control the board and dig through his deck. Rat, on the other hand, focused on equipment, especially Pathway Arrows, to give his creatures deathtouch and control the board. The game took a major turn when John managed to transform his werewolves and launch a massive attack, causing significant damage and taking out Pine. Despite Hamster and Rat’s efforts to block and control the board, John's overwhelming werewolf army ultimately led to his victory.
