Summary
The game started off with a quick pace as Amazonian, piloting Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer, managed to get her commander out in the first turn, setting the tone for an aggressive match. She made good use of Ragavan's ability to exile the top card of opponents' libraries, though this did not always lead to desirable results, as seen when she exiled a land card from Taalia's deck. On the other side of the table, Taalia, commanding Ziatora, the Incinerator, focused on generating treasure tokens, while Elder Dragon Hijinks played Kresh the Bloodbraided, setting up for a strategy that revolved around sacrificing creatures for value. Meanwhile, coL_AliasV, commanding Arcades, the Strategist, began setting up her wall of defenders.
