Summary

The game kicked off with Sam winning the die roll and getting a quick start with Impulsive Pilferer. The other players followed suit with a series of plays aiming to establish their board presence. Jason, commanding Phenax, managed to put Aegis Turtle on the board and started his mill strategy. Chandler, commanding Illuna, started off slow but eventually mutated Slippery Bogle into Migratory Greathorn, setting the stage for more potent mutations. Logan, commanding Ruxa, managed to get a board presence with Woodland Druid and Runeclaw bear, while Sam had an early advantage with Ghired and the generated Rhino token. A significant turn of events occurred when Sam used Encore on his Impulsive Pilferer, causing a significant shift on the board. However, Jason attempted to disrupt Sam's strategy by using Rapid Hybridization on Sam's commander, Ghired. As the game progressed, it was evident that Jason's mill strategy was starting to take effect.
