Summary

The game began with Pina struggling to find lands early on but managing to ramp with Mox Diamond and Birds of Paradise while setting up a Najeela, the Blade-Blossom deck focused on warrior tribal synergy. Baal established an early presence with Thrasios and Tymna, utilizing survival and interaction spells to maintain board control. Hélder’s Gale and Scion of Halaster deck sought to assemble a Timetwister combo with Narset, Parter of Veils, blending value and disruption. David piloted a Ruric Thar deck that aimed to leverage creature-based damage and card draw synergy, casting key creatures such as Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker, and Dragonborn Champion to generate advantage and pressure. A pivotal moment occurred when Baal cast Deluge to reset the board, triggering damage from Ruric Thar and drawing cards for David, which shifted the board state drastically. Hélder followed up with a Toxic Deluge, further clearing the board and maintaining tempo. Pina used Silence strategically to prevent further disruption from Ruric Thar’s recurring threats. Baal tried to maintain control and protect his Survival of the Fittest with multiple counterspells, but Hélder’s Timetwister successfully reshuffled the game state, providing a fresh start for all players. David continued to apply pressure through aggressive creatures and equipment, while Pina eventually stabilized with Najeela and ramp spells. The game was marked by heavy interaction, multiple board wipes, and key counterplays revolving around resource management and timing of spells.
