Summary

The game started off with each player establishing their board presence, with Seth (Omnath) suspending a Search for Tomorrow and Jason (Tymna) casting a Priest of the Forgotten Gods. As the game progressed, each player maneuvered to strengthen their board state, with Chandler (Djeru) casting a party Jace and Alex (Garna) casting a series of elves and a Priest of Forgotten Gods. A turning point in the game arrived when Jason cast Shield of the Apocalypse, gaining a significant advantage with life gain. However, this was promptly dealt with by Chandler's Stroke of Midnight. Alex then took a commanding position, sacrificing creatures to Priest of Forgotten Gods, causing his opponents to lose life and sacrifice creatures. However, Alex's dominant position was diminished by Jason's Anguished Unmaking, eliminating Alex's Dictate of Erebos. The game concluded with a final board state that saw Alex in a commanding position, with a wide board and a Rivers Ascendancy in play.
