Summary
In a high-powered Commander game featuring decks led by Orvar, the All-Form, Pako, Arcane Retriever/Haldan, Avid Arcanist, Brallin, Skyshark Rider/Shabraz, the Skyshark, and Magda, Brazen Outlaw, the early game was dominated by ramp spells and set up of key pieces. The Orvar player managed to get an early Orvar, the All-Form out with a Jeweled Lotus, but a well-timed Stoke the Flames from the Magda player removed it before it could generate value. The Pako/Haldan deck managed to swing in for significant damage with a rapidly growing Pako, while also exiling cards from the top of their opponents' libraries. The Brallin/Shabraz player was able to set up some ramp and card draw with a Dockside Extortionist and Azorius Signet, while the Magda player started to assemble a dwarf army.
