Summary

The game started with a typical round of land drops, with Matt playing an early Burgeoning. Matt used it to ramp quickly, playing The Gitrog Monster but it was removed by Jeff's Feed the Swarm. Cody managed to cast Samut, Voice of Dissent early and began attacking. Matt recast The Gitrog Monster and added a Lotus Cobra to his board. Jeff played Braids, Conjurer Adept, causing each player to sacrifice an artifact or lose two life and draw a card. Carlos played his commander, Carmen, Cruel Skymarcher, and started to build up his board. Jeff's deck showed its combo nature with a strong turn involving Dark Ritual, casting his commander Cormela, Glamour Thief followed by a big Jeska's Will. The game appears to be in the middle stages with all players setting up their game plans and starting to enact their strategies.
