Summary
The game kicked off with each player showcasing their strategies through their initial plays. Shelby, playing Cadira, started building up his token army, while Cameron with Livaan/Shameless Charlatan looked to capitalize on prowess and evasion. Logan's Minsc & Boo deck aimed to hard-hit opponents with powerful creatures, and Matt with Tasha focused on manipulating opponents' cards. Cameron's miscalculation during a crucial turn led to a non-lethal attack on Logan, which led to an agreement between Cameron and Matt that would leave Cameron alive. However, Logan responded with a chain reaction, threatening to wipe the board. Shelby cleverly used Teferi's Protection to save his board state, putting him in a favorable position. Matt, however, later used Memory Plunder to recast Logan's Chain Reaction, resetting the board once again.
