On this episode the horde strikes back! Filmed in back to back after last week’s win; the pod decided to battle the horde with slightly worse decks to see if the win was a fluke or if they were just that good of MTG players. We will let you be the judge…

What type of horde would you like to see the pod fight next?

Horde is an alternate way to play commander where the 1-4 players take turns in unison (ie: 2-headed giant), share a life pool, and have to work together to defeat an auto-played, primarily token based, deck.

Deck breakdowns: Josh - Galadrial, Light of Valinor: this deck wants to bring out as many creatures as possible and beef them up with +1/+1 counters. Tom - Giada, Font of Hope: your classic mono-white angel deck. Giada allows you to not only play angels faster, but to make them even scarier and reward you for bringing a multitude out to play. Dylan - Okaun, Eye of Chaos & Zndrsplt, Eye of Wisdom: nothing better than leaving victory against the horde up to a LITERAL coin flip! Ian - Edgar Markov: while usually a very hyped, over-built commander with devastating potential, this deck was built solely out of cards from Ian’s sealed openings.
