Deck Strategies
Esika, God of the Tree // The Prismatic Bridge
Esika's mono-green deck utilized a Stompy strategy with a focus on legendary creatures. The deck aimed to ramp out big creatures and capitalize on legendary synergies.
Azami, Lady of Scrolls
Azami's deck leveraged the power of female Wizards and aimed for repeatable card draw using Azami's ability. Control elements were also present, with a plan to dig for win conditions.
Toshiro Umezawa
Toshiro's mono-black Spellslinger deck focused on controlling the board through kill spells and card draw. The deck aimed to reanimate opponent's creatures or use large X spells for a finishing blow.
Daretti, Scrap Savant
Daretti's deck, full of powerful artifacts, aimed to fill the graveyard with large artifact creatures and then reanimate them with Daretti's ability, seeking to overwhelm opponents with a board full of powerful artifacts.
Gameplay Insights
- 1
Daretti's strong start was a key element in the early game, establishing a strong board presence and demonstrating the power of a quick artifact strategy.
- 2
Azami's play of Overwhelmed Apprentice provided her with a degree of card control and the ability to mill opponents, which could have a significant impact on the course of the game.
- 3
Toshiro's strategic use of the Expedition Map to fetch Cabal Coffers set him up for a potential massive mana advantage in the later stages of the game.
- 4
Esika's play of Sylvan Library was a crucial move, providing much-needed card draw to help with her slower start.

Summary
The game was a mono-colored brawl featuring commanders Esika, Azami, Toshiro, and Daretti. It opened with an extremely strong start from Daretti, who managed to establish a significant board presence in the first few turns, including key artifacts like Manifold Key, Liquimetal Torque, and Mycosynth Wellspring, and even getting his commander on the board. Azami, on the other hand, started to build her wizard army with Tribute Mage, and she was also able to get some card advantage through Thought Vessel and Overwhelmed Apprentice. Toshiro was playing a slower game, setting up future plays with cards like Expedition Map and Cabal Coffers. Esika, however, was struggling a bit in the early game, but managed to play Sylvan Library to help with card draw.
