Summary

The game kicked off with all players setting up their board states, with Derevi showcasing its power by generating significant value without resorting to stax or tax strategies. Myrel, Shield of Argive posed an early threat by producing a steady stream of soldier tokens. However, the Hapatra player preemptively disrupted this strategy by casting a Maelstrom Pulse, which was unfortunately countered by Myrel's God's Willing. As the game progressed, Hapatra managed to create a number of snake tokens through -1/-1 counters and leverage them for additional mana with Phyrexian Altar. Meanwhile, Derevi player showed great mana efficiency and resource management by casting Overgrowth and Dismiss into Dreams, which drastically affected the game state and hindered the other players' strategies.
