Its looks like we’ll be starting off our non-precon builds for March of the Machine the the team-up pairing from Kaladesh - Rashmi and Ragavan - who we eager to take the fight to the phyrexians by turning their own strength against them and making a tidy some of profit while doing so!
In this build, we’ll be aiming to empower our commander’s ability as much as possible to make their spell theft effect as powerful as we can get it. On the accuracy side, we’ll be running a fair number of ways for us to see and/or manipulate or opponent’s topdecks to take the guesswork out of our commander ability and ensure we always hit the best option(s). Then to increase its frequency, we’ll be running both means to copy out commanders ability as it triggers, as well as ways to just copy our commander via non-legendary clones to ensure we’re trigger them as many times as possible. And lastly, to maximize our chances of casting the spells we hit off our opponents for free, we’ll be running a wide variety of artifact token generators – ensuring we’ll always have a nice stockpile of artifact tokens available to us at all times to so we can cast our opponents spells at no cost to ourselves. From there, supplemented by various other spell stealing effects we’ll be running alongside our commander, we’ll be able to continually raid our opponent’s deck for more and more resources until they fall to their own decks design.
