Summary

The game began with each player setting up their board states, with Saruman amassing an army, Sauron reanimating creatures, Frodo and Sam generating food tokens, and Éowyn creating knight tokens. A major turning point occurred when Felix cast a board-wipe spell, 'Farewell', resetting the board except for enchantments. The game continued with the players rebuilding their boards, but Seb's Saruman deck took advantage with Angrath, Captain of Chaos to mass and strengthen creatures. Max's Sauron deck attempted a comeback with a reanimation strategy using 'Extract from Darkness', but it was Marie's Frodo and Sam deck that secured the victory. Despite losing a life from 'The One Ring', she managed to gain life with 'Essence Warden' and 'Sam', and using Frodo's ring bearer ability to make unblockable attacks.
