Summary

The game kicked off with Matt (Nalia) establishing a strong board presence early on with Soul Ring, Arcane Signet, and Land Tax, while John (Blind Seer) utilized his Isochron Scepter with Hydroblast imprinted on it to control the board. AR (Hapatra) focused on generating -1/-1 counters and snake tokens, which combined with his Obelisk Spider, allowed him to drain his opponents. However, the game took a significant turn when Matt cast Lazelle and Squad Commander, creating a formidable army. Jon, with his Blind Seer equipped with Commander's Plate, managed to take out AR with 21 points of commander damage. Matt, not one to be left behind, utilized Nalia's ability to pump his party and cause significant damage. A timely Cyclonic Rift from Jon reset the board, but Matt quickly repopulated his field, continuing the pressure. The game was cut short before the conclusion was reached, leaving us in suspense.
