Summary

The game featured a high-powered four-player Commander match with Vadrok, Apex of Thunder; Bjorna, Nightfall Alchemist; Wernog, Rider's Chaplain; K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth; and Greasefang, Okiba Boss. Early turns saw aggressive mana acceleration via cards like Mana Crypt, Moxen, and Ancient Tomb, enabling fast deployment of threats and combo pieces. Vadrok's player established a strong board presence with creatures like Crick, a 7/7 menace, applying heavy pressure on opponents. K'rrik pursued a life-payment storm combo strategy, utilizing tutors and rituals to assemble a winning storm sequence. Meanwhile, Bjorna and Wernog leveraged utility creatures and disruption such as Cursed Totem to slow down opponents' synergies. A key turning point was when one player successfully chained spells like Chain of Vapor and Intuition to recycle their key combo pieces, culminating in a Brain Freeze storm finish. The combination of card draw, recursion, and disruption sealed the game, as the storm player milked the opponents' resources before delivering a lethal combo. Throughout the game, the interaction between aggressive creatures, combo setups, and disruption elements highlighted the dynamic tension of the multiplayer format, with the storm deck ultimately prevailing through a calculated and methodical sequence of plays.

Description

It seems new Capana has made some changes to Secre Lairs Stranger Things and now all cards normally go by their Original Title so in this case BJORNA and WERNOG instead of WILL and LUCAS…I do like the new art…but I am getting off track…or am I? Also these games are a great showcase of why an aggresive mulligan is great, and sometimes maybe you or I should go beyond that :D
