Summary
The game kicked off with the players bringing out their commanders - Araumi, Kitt Kanto, Smeagol, and Eowyn. Kitt Kanto player, Seb, made a strong start with a host of tokens, thanks to Parallel Lives and Loyal Apprentice. Araumi's player, Max, used Dread Return to bring back Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, but lost it to High Market. The Witch King's player, Muddstah, swung in, drawing cards off Smeagol's 'ring bearer' ability and reanimated creatures with Sepulchral Primordial. Felix, playing Eowyn, managed to build a considerable board of knight tokens. However, the game's balance shifted when Max encored Archon of Cruelty, decimating the opponents' resources, and then swung in with the Archons. In the final turns, Seb cast a massive Profane Procession, creating a swarm of tokens with Kitt Kanto and Parallel Lives. Ultimately, Max's aggressive plays with Archon of Cruelty and Araumi's encore ability proved too much for the opponents, leading to his victory.
