Deck Strategies
Titania, Protector of Argoth
Ramp aggressively with lands and use Titania to return lands from graveyard to create large elemental token armies, aiming to overwhelm opponents with wide board presence.
Koma, Cosmos Serpent
Utilize ramp and powerful lands to generate tentacle tokens and leverage Koma's ability to control the board and deal damage through combat triggers.
Orvar, the All-Form
Copy instant and sorcery spells to generate value and combo potential, especially with High Tide and mana untapping combos, to enable infinite or near-infinite spell casting.
K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth
Exploit Phyrexian mana costs to cast spells quickly and aggressively, gaining incremental advantages through extort and life payment synergy.
Gameplay Insights
- 1
Ben's use of infinite mana combo with Palinchron and High Tide enabled repeated casting and copying of Agent of Treachery, allowing him to steal key permanents and dominate the board.
- 2
The Titania player used Elvish Reclaimer effectively to fetch powerful lands like Dark Depths and Glacial Chasm, providing defensive and offensive capabilities.
- 3
Counterspells and removal were heavily used, but many were focused on Koma and Titania, allowing Orvar's combo to proceed largely unhindered.
- 4
The deck piloted by Ben leveraged card draw and spell copying with Orvar to create a loop with Sublime Epiphany that forced the opponent to mill out, a less common but effective win condition.
- 5
The interplay of extort damage and life payments by K'rrik's player created pressure but also left them vulnerable to targeted attacks.

Summary
The game began with players establishing their board states and ramping mana early with various fetchlands and ramp spells. Titania was quickly deployed by the first player who used her to recursively fetch lands and generate elemental tokens, applying early pressure. Shane, commanding Koma, Cosmos Serpent, ramped aggressively with mana dorks and powerful lands like Cabal Coffers, attempting to build a board presence of tentacle tokens. Ben, piloting Orvar, the All-Form, focused on casting and copying spells, leveraging combos involving High Tide, Peregrine Drake, and Palinchron to generate infinite mana and multiple spell casts. K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth, was also cast but countered early, slowing that player's initial momentum. The pivotal moment came when Ben used his infinite mana combo to cast Agent of Treachery multiple times, stealing key permanents from opponents, including Koma and Titania's Elvish Reclaimer. This allowed him to control critical parts of the board and maintain his combo engine. Ben then used Sublime Epiphany copied repeatedly with Orvar to force the Titania player to mill their entire library, securing a win through decking out. Throughout the game, numerous counterspells and removal were exchanged, but Ben’s combo went largely unchecked, allowing him to dominate the late game and close out the match.
