Deck & Commander Strategies

Killian, Ink Duelist
A black-white control deck focusing on removing problematic creatures and generating tokens, using Killian's ability to reduce creature spell costs and applying pressure through control elements and incremental advantage.

Rashmi, Eternities Crafter
A green-blue value deck aiming to ramp and cast multiple spells per turn, leveraging Rashmi's triggered ability to draw and cast free spells, enhanced by copying effects like Sakashima of a Thousand Faces for doubled value.

Erebos, God of the Dead
A black devotion deck centered on controlling the board through creature removal, denying opponents life gain, drawing cards by paying life, and eventually powering out large demons and planeswalkers to close the game.

Svyelun of Sea and Sky
A blue-based exploring deck that generates treasures and explores the top cards of the library to gain incremental advantage and resource generation through exploration and treasure tokens.

Gameplay Summary
The game unfolded with four players piloting diverse decks: a black-white control deck led by Killian, Ink Duelist, a blue-green value and ramp deck around Rashmi, Eternities Crafter, a black devotion and card draw deck with Erebos, God of the Dead, and a blue-based exploring and treasure-generating deck headed by Svyelun of Sea and Sky.
Early turns saw players establishing their mana bases and setting up key pieces such as Leyline of the Void to disrupt graveyard strategies, and ramping into their commanders and utility creatures.
Killian's deck focused on controlling the board with removal and creating tokens, while Rashmi's deck aimed to generate value through casting spells and manipulating the top of the deck, including deploying a copy of Sakashima of a Thousand Faces to double Rashmi's effect.
Erebos maintained a kill-everything approach with heavy devotion to black and card draw engines, threatening big demons and planeswalkers.
The interaction between Sakashima copying Rashmi and the presence of Leyline of the Void created tension and complexity in managing graveyard-dependent plays.
The game built toward a midgame where control, value generation, and board presence would dictate the outcome, with players carefully navigating around exile effects and removal to leverage their synergies and win conditions.
