Summary
The game kicked off with a rapid set-up from all players, but John took an early lead with an explosive turn one, casting Soul Ring, Arcane Signet, and MOX Diamond. Matt played a series of ramp spells, culminating in the casting of his commander, Me, the Immortal. ARA managed to wipe the board with Corpse Explosion, while Jon played defensively, focusing on recasting his commander, Blind Seer. The game reached a turning point when Matt's commander was countered twice by Jon's Blind Seer, leading to Matt seeking retaliation. In an explosive turn, Jon used Mind Over Matter to tap down key creatures, ensuring his survival. However, it was the cyclonic rift and the successive attacks that tilted the game in favor of the player controlling Ishai and Krark, leading to Matt's elimination and Jon dropping to a dangerous life total. Despite ARA's attempts to control the board and deal damage, the Ishai and Krark player closed the game with a huge draw from Seagate Restoration and a full swing of pumped creatures.
