Summary
The game kicked off with each player revealing their commander and strategy. Jim, piloting Nethroi, Apex of Death, was the first to strike, using modular creatures to constantly bring back his graveyard. Fil, with Wick, the Whorled Mind, planned a storm strategy with snail tokens. Madison, wielding Camellia, the Seedmiser, aimed to overwhelm opponents with menacing squirrels boosted by food tokens. Alex, with Kudo, King among Bears, set out to passively put counters on creatures while transforming them into bears. An interesting twist was introduced when Alex played Good Fortune Unicorn, making creatures entering the battlefield under his control receive additional +1/+1 counters, which worked exceptionally well with his commander, Kudo, and his Hydra. Jim continued his aggressive play, using his creatures' menace ability to keep pressure on his opponents.
