Deck Strategies
Rograkh and Akroma
Rachel's strategy was to leverage Rograkh's zero mana cost to have a commander on board from the very first turn. The deck was filled with creatures having numerous keywords to synergize with Akroma's ability to buff them, with the aim of dealing a lot of damage.
Jeska and Kamahl
Joe's strategy was to generate a lot of mana early on, cast a multitude of creatures, and then use Kamahl's and Jeska's abilities to pump them up and deal significant damage.
Toggo and Kodama
The main strategy of Josh's deck was to generate a lot of rock tokens using Toggo and then find interesting ways to use them, including throwing them at opponents. Kodama was included primarily for access to green mana.
Sakashima and Tevesh Szat
Jimmy's deck was a clone strategy, aiming to copy the best creatures on the board and change them at will for maximum value. Tevesh Szat and other powerful creatures were included to provide potent clone targets.

Summary

This was followed by Rachel, piloting Rograkh and Akroma, casting her commander on the very first turn. Meanwhile, Josh, playing Toggo and Kodama, and Jimmy, with Sakashima and Tevesh Szat, were setting up their strategies with early ramp and utility spells. The game continued with players developing their board states and strategies, including Joe's landfall interactions, Rachel's keyword-focused creature buffs, Josh's rock token generation, and Jimmy's clone strategy. The game's tempo fluctuated greatly as players navigated through each other's threats and defenses, setting up for an unpredictable and thrilling conclusion.
