Summary

The game started with each player introducing their commanders and their game plan. Jason was playing Galazeth Prismari and aimed to generate tokens and swing for lethal. Nate was running Venser, Corpse Puppet, aiming to leverage its zombie-like abilities. Steve was sticking with Omnath, Locus of Mana, playing mono green and trying to do things green is not supposed to do. Matt was playing Arcade Gannon, a deck that he likened to Lurus if you squint a little bit. The game saw a lot of strategic plays and interactions, with key moments revolving around a counter spell on Steve's Finale of Devastation, and Nate's clever use of Tainted Strike on his unblocked creature to give Jason poison counters.
