Summary

The game began with the usual ramp and setup, as players established their mana bases and laid down early creatures and enchantments. Zedruu focused on card advantage and control elements, playing Rest in Peace and Rule of Law early to disrupt graveyards and slow down opponents. The game’s pace shifted when Zedruu resolved Sunbird's Invocation, digging for powerful enchantments like Humility and Replenish, setting up a combo with Helm of Obedience and Rest in Peace that aimed to lock opponents out and mill them out. Meanwhile, Tymaret and Saskia applied pressure with aggressive creatures and sacrifice effects, and Horde of Notions utilized recursion and token generation to maintain board presence. A key turning point was when Zedruu successfully assembled the Helm of Obedience and Replenish combo, bringing back Rest in Peace to exile opponents’ graveyards and lock the game. Despite this, the other players fought back with treasure tokens, Greater Good draws, and creature recursion. Tymaret’s sacrifice synergies and aggressive plays kept the table on edge, while Saskia's consistent damage output forced Zedruu to remain defensive. Ultimately, Zedruu leveraged a combination of card draw, disruption, and combo to dismantle opponents’ libraries and secure victory.
