The game started off with a variety of strategies in play. Rograkh (partnered with The Prismatic Piper) was quickly equipped with a variety of gear and started swinging for commander damage. The Kwain deck established early control with Deafening Silence and Rule of Law, limiting players to casting only one spell per turn. Omnath pushed for a Voltron strategy, amassing mana and growing in power. Meanwhile, Mistform Ultimus was built up as a powerful Voltron threat. The game took a major turn when a Flood of Tears was cast, resetting the board. However, Ethan's Kwain deck took control of Mistform Ultimus with Mass Manipulation, turning the tide of the game. The match ended with a series of powerful attacks from a copied Dream Trawler, leading to Ethan's victory.
