Summary
The game began with a series of early plays, with each player setting up their boards and casting their commanders. Mord, piloting Mizzix, got off to a strong start with Jace, Vryn's Prodigy and a Mana Crypt, but was continuously pressured by the other players. Claire, commanding Tymna and Kamahl, managed to gum up the board with hate bears, including Sanctum Prelate and Archon of Ammeria. Meanwhile, Jim's Breya deck played a slower, more controlling game, disrupting Mord's Windfall with a Red Elemental Blast. Izlain, playing Minsc, made a significant attempt to swing the game in his favor with a Natural Order, but this was thwarted by Mord's Flusterstorm. The game came to a climax when Claire, having built up a formidable board presence, cast Kamahl and began to swing aggressively with boosted creatures.
