Summary
The game was packed with twists and turns as each player deployed their commanders and strategized around them. Early on, Kevin's Magar deck demonstrated its power by casting multiple spells as creatures, and using them for various effects. Mika's Go-Shintai deck was able to control the board by casting a timely 'dam', wiping away Kevin's spell creatures. The tide turned when Max's Marchesa deck used 'Horus Heresy' to gain control of Kevin's 'Unexpected Windfall' creature and my 'Auger of Autumn'. Despite this, Kevin managed to regain control, dealing significant damage to Max and wiping the board with 'Volcanic Torrent'. The game ended with my Titania deck's 'Natural Affinity' play, turning all lands into creatures and swinging for lethal damage.
