Summary
The game commenced with each player revealing their random commanders. The early game was largely dominated by Jeremy's Sapling of Colfenor deck, which relied heavily on ramping and gaining life through Sapling's ability. Corey, playing Tobias, Doomed Conqueror, tried to amass a lot of creatures and blow them up for value. Stephen's Myojin of Roaring Blades deck was mostly average but aimed at casting Myojin multiple times. Jonathan's The Ur-Dragon deck was all about flying dragons with big stats. The mid-game was largely dictated by the players' attempts to neutralize each other's strategies. However, the turning point came when the Ur-Dragon deck started to get out of control, with John successfully flooding the board with dragons. Despite the other players' best attempts to control the board state, the Ur-Dragon's overwhelming presence proved to be too much.
