Summary

The game began with each player developing their board and setting up their respective strategies. Kovacs, playing Tor Wauki the Younger, aimed to amplify non-combat damage through spells and abilities, quickly establishing Electrostatic Field and Monoform Hellkite to pressure opponents. Busterkins on Sheoldred, the Apocalypse, focused on punishing opponents for drawing cards and generating value via enchantments and life-drain effects like Sanguine Bond and Veto, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Chris piloted a Voltron-style Tetsuo, Imperial Champion deck, equipping his commander with powerful artifacts like Darksteel Plate to push commander damage. J-man, with Ivy, Gleeful Spellthief, sought to copy impactful spells and maintain a strong card draw engine using cards like Herald of the Pantheon and Scoot Swarm for token generation and card advantage.
