The game started with each player deploying their respective commanders: Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest, Feather, the Redeemed, Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer, and The Ur-Dragon.

Evan, piloting Feather, quickly ramped up the pressure with a series of pump spells and combat tricks, dealing considerable damage to Mark.

Meanwhile, Josh, with Brudiclad, focused on ramping and developing his board presence with artifacts, while Jimmy's Shu Yun deck leveraged the prowess mechanic to dish out sizeable attacks.

Mark's The Ur-Dragon deck, however, struggled to establish a strong board presence.
