Summary

The game started off with all players building up their boards, setting up their commanders and laying down initial strategies. Maximus, playing Zellix and Haunted One, focused on mill strategies, creating horror tokens whenever a creature hit the graveyard from an opponent's library and using Captain Nathrod to bring back creatures from the graveyard. Mika, playing Durnan and Passionate Archaeologist, built up a strong board presence with creatures and took advantage of Primeval Bounty to gain life and create beast tokens. Kevin, playing Baeloth and Clan Crafter, focused on control elements such as Propaganda and put down a Curse of Verbosity on Mika. The player controlling Burakos and Folk Hero focused on aggression, using the commander's attack trigger to generate treasure tokens and deal damage. The game saw multiple swings in momentum, with players trading blows and making strategic blocks. It eventually led to a massive mill operation by Maximus, forcing Mika to draw 13 cards and mill a significant portion of his deck.
