Beef's Simic partners deck with Thrasios and Kodama leverages flash and value creatures to control the board while ramping and drawing cards, setting up for mid-to-late game combos. Tarren's Grixis wheels deck with Sauron, the Dark Lord focuses on wheel effects and disruption, using creatures like Fell Specter to force discards and gain life advantage. Elio runs an aggressive mono-blue combo deck with Gandalf, Friend of the Shire, aiming to string together cantrips and flash-speed spells to generate card advantage and combo off with high-impact spells like Expropriate. Key turning points include Wizard casting Zhulodok and Darksteel Forge, which triggered multiple cascades, gaining significant board presence and ramp. Beef's timely flash creatures and counterspells kept the table reactive, while Tarren’s use of Fell Specter and wheel spells created pressure on opponents’ hands.
