Summary

The game kicked off with each player casting their respective commanders. Ethan on Hans Eriksson began to exert pressure with Xenagos, God of Rebels, in tandem with his commander, flipping powerful creatures into play. Matt on Kaalia of the Vast managed to cheat in some significant threats, including Icing Death, Frost Tyrant and Archfiend of Depravity, using Kaalia's ability. However, Cameron on Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, turned the tides with a well-timed Damnation board wipe, clearing the way for his own commander and Morbid Opportunist, while also dealing with threats from other players. Matt and Ethan recovered quickly by recasting their commanders. The game heated up further with Dustin on Tovolar, Dire Overlord, managing to draw additional cards and maintain a board presence despite the tumultuous battlefield.
