Summary

The game began with Chris piloting Fblthp, the Lost as the archenemy, facing off against three opponents commanding Atla Palani, Nest Tender; Xenagos, God of Revels; and Arcades, the Strategist. Chris utilized Fblthp's powerful scheme deck to control the board and disrupt opponents, deploying schemes that forced sacrifices and manipulated opponents’ libraries. Early turns saw setup plays from all players, with Chris quickly assembling mana and casting Fblthp to start exerting pressure. Despite attempts by the other players to develop their boards, Chris's oppressive schemes and board control kept them on the back foot. A key turning point came when Chris used Proteus Staff to reveal and rearrange his entire library, effectively locking in his game plan and gaining overwhelming card advantage. He also used Bribery to take control of powerful creatures like Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, which he leveraged to eliminate one of the opponents decisively. The other players tried to respond with board wipes like Wave of Reckoning and equipment to buff their creatures, but Chris's tempo and card advantage proved too strong. By the end, Chris's Fblthp deck had dismantled the opposition through a combination of harassment, card advantage, and powerful Eldrazi threats, culminating in a brutal victory for the archenemy side.
