Edric, Spymaster of Trest | Weenie / Control - The Brewery [S01E20]

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to The Commander Tavern! I am Demented Kirby and this is the 20th episode of one of the series on this channel, The Brewery. This series is all about brewing and deck techs - hopefully showcasing the spiciest of brews!

In this episode of The Brewery I present a deck I’ve been playing for a long time: Edric, Spymaster of Trest. This deck aims to cast as many cheap unblockable creatures as possible in order to maintain a fat hand of counterspells and other reactive cards. Additionally, to dig through the deck to find wincons such as Biomass Mutation and Triumph of the Hordes. It’s important to note that this deck uses the instantaneous wincon of 10+ infect damage to either eliminate a player or the entire board. I am aware that some playgroups frown upon infect damage. That being said, the deck can still function without it and you can simply replace it with a mass pump spell like Oko’s Hospitality.
