Deck Strategies
Etrata, the Silencer
This deck seeks to leverage Etrata's unique alternate win condition - removing opponent's creatures from the game. The challenge is to continuously bounce Etrata back to hand or deck to avoid shuffling her into the library.
Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice
This deck aims to create a formidable board presence with double strike creatures, equip them with powerful artifacts, and deal massive damage.
Emmara, Soul of the Accord
The deck is built around tap/untap shenanigans to create a recurring value engine, generating a swarm of tokens and presenting a steady threat to opponents.
Izoni, Thousand-Eyed
This deck aims to flood the board with creatures and sacrifice them for value, with an alternate win condition of overwhelming the opponents with sheer numbers of creatures.
Gameplay Insights
- 1
Josh Lee Kwai's decision to equip Emmara, Soul of the Accord with Paradise Mantle allowed him to generate tokens while avoiding combat, a smart play to maintain board presence.
- 2
Craig Blanchette's play of equipping Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice with Sword of War and Peace presented a significant threat to the board, especially to token-based strategies.
- 3
Adam Savidan's use of surveil mechanic with Lazav, the Multifarious showcased a different approach to deck manipulation and graveyard interaction.

Summary
The game started with all players building their board states, with Josh Lee Kwai displaying an early lead by getting his commander, Emmara, Soul of the Accord onto the board early and equipping it with Paradise Mantle. However, Craig Blanchette was not far behind, playing his commander, Aurelia, Exemplar of Justice, on turn three, and later equipping it with Sword of War and Peace. Olivier Gobert-Hicks, playing Etrata, the Silencer, and Adam Savidan, running Izoni, Thousand-Eyed, also made significant board progress. The game continued to evolve with each deck showcasing its unique strategies and the players making critical decisions to shape the board in their favor.
