Ayara, First of Locthwain | Zombie Tribal - The Brewery [S01E17]

Greetings, everyone! Welcome to The Commander Tavern! I am Demented Kirby and this is the 17th episode of one of the series on this channel, The Brewery. This series is all about brewing and deck techs - hopefully showcasing the spiciest of brews!

In this episode of The Brewery I present my take on Ayara, First of Locthwain. This brew is a zombie tribal deck relying on typical zombie synergies and shenanigans in order to trigger Ayara and similar effects for value. This video explains how I plan to build the deck and why I chose the cards I did. The main strategy is to trigger effects that draw us cards, gain us life, and ping opponents. Since it is zombie tribal, it’s also possible to finish off opponents with some good ol’ fashion zombie horde beatdown. I really wanted to get this video out sooner but was swamped with so many other things. Serendipitously though, I released it today of all days; a zombie tribal deck on Friday the 13th. This was definitely fun to brew since I though a bit outside the box with having Ayara be the commander of a zombie tribal deck without herself being inherently synergistic to such a thing.
