Summary
The game started off with each player setting up their mana bases and getting their commanders on the board. DJ, playing Hazezon Tamar, quickly established his token-generating engine with the help of Exploration and Goblin Bombardment, while Jimmy, piloting Shu Yun, focused on chaining non-creature spells to trigger his commander's prowess and double strike ability. In the middle of the game, Craig's Damia, Sage of Stone, managed to leverage his commander's card draw engine, ramping and deploying cheap spells and mana dorks, preparing for his big finishers. Meanwhile, Vinny's Rafiq of the Many was gearing up for single combat with powerful equipment and evasive threats. In the end, it was a close match with strategic decisions and game-changing interactions shaping the gameplay.
