Summary
The game starts with JC, the player controlling Krark, the Thumbless and Thrasios, Triton Hero, aiming to copy spells for big value. Early in the game, a Plaguecrafter from the Muldrotha player forces each player to sacrifice a creature, causing JC to lose his commander, Krark. JC recasts Krark, copies him with Spark Double, and then manages to hold onto both copies. The Muldrotha player casts their commander, but it gets exiled by Yoshimaru's Kai, the Inexorable. The Coma player casts a Wonder, providing potential flying to its creatures but doesn't attack. The game ends without a clear winner.
Deck Strategies
Krark, the Thumbless and Thrasios, Triton Hero
The deck aims to copy spells for big value. It also looks for copy multipliers or aims to cast Thousand-Year Storm to either shut down opponents or close out the game. The strategy involves ramping and using cards like Spark Double to copy its commander, Krark.
Muldrotha, the Gravetide
The deck uses sacrifice effects like Plaguecrafter to control the board. Muldrotha's ability to cast a permanent spell of each permanent type from the graveyard each turn provides continuous value.
Yoshimaru, Ever Faithful and Falthis, Shadowcat Familiar
Yoshimaru aims to capitalize on legendary permanents entering the battlefield, growing in power with each one. Falthis gives Yoshimaru menace and deathtouch, making it a challenging blocker.
Koma, Cosmos Serpent
Koma's deck contains cards like Wonder and Nascent Metamorph for evasion and adaptability. It seems to be a deck built around the idea of having creatures with flying.
