Summary
The game started with each player setting up their boards and ramping up their mana. Shelby (Shalai) began with a strong start, equipped Lightning Greaves to Serra Ascendant, and started dealing damage. Ethan (Omnath) also ramped up quickly, utilizing Sakura-Tribe Scout along with fetch lands to get ahead, even through a board wipe. The game's momentum shifted when Justin (Alesha) cast Dusk, wiping out most of the threatening creatures. Later on, Justin cast Cleansing Nova, deciding to destroy all artifacts and enchantments, greatly affecting the boards. Although Shelby (Shalai) struggled with land drops, he managed to cast Rest in Peace and Blind Obedience. Ethan (Omnath), unaffected by the board wipes, continued to apply pressure with his zombie army from Field of the Dead. The game ended abruptly as the transcript was truncated.
