Summary

The game starts with each player developing their board states. Max, playing The Lord of Pain, gets an early lead by casting Tectonic Giant and The Lord of Pain. The game takes an unexpected turn when Max starts dealing significant damage to everyone with The Lord of Pain's ability. However, the tables turn when Maximus flashes in Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar, resulting in Max taking a massive hit from his own Lord of the Pain, eventually leading to his downfall. Maximus, playing Kianne, then leverages his board state, casting Sandwurm Convergence to protect himself from the flying Inkling tokens generated by Matt's Master of Keys. The game ends in a head-to-head between Maximus and Matt, with Maximus finally emerging victorious.
