Gameplay Summary

The game began with the Sliver Legion player focusing on establishing a strong tribal presence, utilizing various Slivers to build a synergistic board before casting the powerful Sliver Legion to buff his entire team.

Early on, the Riku player employed a spellslinger strategy, casting ramp and utility spells while copying key creatures for defensive and offensive value.

The Selvala player focused on life gain and mana acceleration, capitalizing on cards like Zendikar Resurgent and Aetherflux Reservoir to maintain tempo and threaten the board.

Meanwhile, the Xyris player aimed to force opponents to discard frequently and generate tokens, leveraging cards like Magus of the Wheel and Teferi's Puzzle Box to disrupt and gain incremental advantage. A pivotal moment came when the Selvala player activated a massive mana boost and life gain combo, using Beacon of Immortality to double life and then casting Aetherflux Reservoir, which allowed him to shoot down the Sliver Legion player, who was acting as arch-enemy.

This effectively removed the biggest threat on the board.

Following this, Selvala continued to leverage card draw and mana generation effects like Font of Mythos and Collective Voyage to maintain dominance.

Despite the disruption attempts from Xyris with Puzzle Box and discard effects, the Selvala player managed to draw into a Lightning Greaves and equipped it to protect himself, then dealt lethal damage to the Xyris player, securing the win.

The Sliver Legion player's aggressive tribal synergy was halted early, and Riku's spellslinger combo was unable to keep pace with the life-gain and card advantage engine of Selvala.
